Apple TV is about to get even better with the newly introduced $30 TV subscription service that Apple is currently working on. Peter Kafka of All Things Digital recently talked to some industry executives who have been negotiating with them about a $30 a month on-demand TV service through Apple TV. This would make the Apple TV similar to that of a cable like service, completely ignoring the DVR market at this point. Kafka also said that there are currently 65 million iTunes accounts which Apple can use in order to get their new subscription service out to the public. More »

The Amazon Kindle, leader of the ereader market has never needed an advertisement on TV until now. Yesterday, a Kindle advertisment aired on many channels, that showed a woman falling from the sky, becoming different characters in books followed by a rabbit making the Kindle appear. The woman in the ad was Annie Little, the winner of Amazon’s Ad Contest. More »
