iPhones, netbooks, laptops and MP3 players are kind of a snore when it comes to evaluating each based on normality. Luckily for us, 2009 saw no shortage of weird gadgets to off-set the trend of normalcy. This brings us to our list of the Top 10 Weirdest Gadgets of 2009.

1. USB Breast Warming Pads: Rarely do I ever run into the problem of cold breasts in front of my computer. Apparently, someone in Japan did.

2. Mugen Tokoroten: This gadget only requires a description for you to understand why it made it to the top 10. This gadget simulates squeezing a particular sea weed in Japan that has the same effect of bubble wrap.

3. USB Eyelash Curler: Not only did someone have the problem of cold breasts in Japan, they also had issues with their eyelashes not being curled enough when at the computer.

4. Travel John Disposable Urinal: When you need to go, you gotta go. And make sure you can go virtually…anywhere.

5. Credit Card Light Bulb: You won’t ever have to face darkness — these light bulbs conveniently fit into your wallet. Just in case your the backlight on your cellphone doesn’t work.

6. WashUp Washing Machine & Toilet: Why use fresh water to clean your clothes when you can just recycle the water from your toilet for laundry-use?

7. iPod Toilet Dock: If you’re on the toilet for this long, it might be a good idea for you to see a doctor.

8. RSSTroom Reader: Never again will you be away from your favorite feeds! But again, see my comments for No. 7.
9. USB Pet Rock: I still have no idea what the USB Pet Rock is good for.

10. USB Butt Cooler Because sometimes, your butt just starts feeling too hot in the summer.
Know of any weird gadgets that didn’t make the list but feel should? Tell me all about it!

LOL. I have to admit that some of this stuff is actually quite inventive, even if absurd. Those disposable urinal cups make sense if you’re stuck in the city and cannot find a free toilet nearby. Still, where would you get the privacy to “go”?
Following along with this list, I notice a lot of bathroom related gear.

Hahaha yeah I guess people spend more time in the bathroom than we think.
