There are smartphones, and now…smartglasses. Damjan Stakovic’s Cipher Drinking Glasses are the only glasses that fall into the smartglasses classification. (A gadget classification term I just totally made up right now.) What’s smart about these glasses is that due to some unknown technology, the glasses have a mosaic of dots on the outside of the glass that can somehow can detect specific liquids. These dots then spell out the type of drink you have in the glass.
The mosaic dots used match the color of the drink inside the glass:

I don’t really see how this is necessary unless you happen to find yourself at parties or social functions wondering which glass belongs to you. Would you use a Cipher Drinking glass?
