5 Tech-friendly Music Videos

I’m going to totally blow my cover as a cool person with a life by saying that I spend a lot of time looking at music videos on Youtube. During one session of music video watching, I discovered that a lot of of favorite music videos are tech and gadget related. Check out these 5 tech-friendly music videos from some of my favorite songs and artists.

1. 50 Cent feat. Justin Timberlake - Ayo Technology: Lemme hear ya say AYYYOOOOOOOO, I’m tired of using technology. For Justin Timberlake, I wouldn’t mind not using technology. Just sayin.’

2. Bad Romance - Lady Gaga: There’s at least 10 gadget sightings in this music video by someone I like to call the Queen of my life (read: Lady Gaga). Be on the look out for a Parrot Zikmu by Phillipe Starck wireless stereo speakers, Heartbeats Lady Gaga earphones, Wii Nunchuk controllers, HP Envy 15 Beats Edition notebooks, the weird chin strap and the boob sparklers Lady Gaga wears at the end of the video.

2. Bjork - All is Full of Love: Does it get any better than a robotic romance directed by Michel Gondry? Bjork’s All is Full of Love happens to be on the list of favorite songs, ever. (Michel Gondry is one of my favorite directors, ever, also.)

3. The Postal Service - Such Great Heights: Romance in a microchip factory! One cool thing to note about this music video is that during the song’s bridge the video zooms from a Skyworks Solutions chip in a satellite and down to the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City. The block where the EnergySolutions Arena sits is modified to look like a computer chip, creating a recursive visual effect.
