The Tub-E Bathtub is yet another product aside from the LED shower that raises the same question of, “Would you bathe in that?” Upon first glance, it looks like an over-glorified, futuristic plant pot. I’d use it to stick a small palm or bamboo tree if no one told me it was actually a bathtub. What supposedly sets this bathtub apart from the rest is that it has a thermostatically controlled heater under the seat keeps the water at a constant temperature. Everything about it is automated — it cleans itself, empties itself and injects bath oils when you need them.

Call me old fashioned, but I think I’ll stick to the good ol’ porcelain bathtub. I can’t even imagine where a full-sized human is supposed to place themself in the Tub-E Bathtub.
