Nuvo has just released its own version of a “prenatal care device.” The Ritmo Advanced Pregnancy Sound System is a sporty looking device that straps around the abdominal area and presses four speakers to the belly, allowing for sound to penetrate through to the developing child inside.
Aside from this being totally “pregtastic” (sarcasm), this $130 device has a 3.5mm jack that allows you to share your favorite tunes from your iPod with your child. Although studies have shown that music helps child development, I doubt that Korean pop music would be included in the “helpful” music category. Maybe some Mozart?
