Yesterday, January 15th, McDonald’s officially launched its free wireless internet service in 11,500 of its 14,000 stores nationwide. The big chain fast food company has slashed the original $2.95 fee for two hours of wi-fi service and is now offering it completely free of charge. This now makes McDonald’s the largest provider of wi-fi hotspots in the country, with Ronald McDonald himself claiming that McDonald’s makes up at least 16% of the wifi hotspots in the country. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your laptop and head on over to the nearest participating McDonald’s for some free internet and some low cost delicacies.
