It seems like a lot of universities and colleges across the world are sort of stuck in a rut with tradition. With the recent rise of new technology such as e-readers, colleges and textbook publishers should begin to look into these new options. If publishers are able to “digitize” their books, students would be saving a lot of money. Instead of purchasing heavy, expensive books each year, students could just download books onto their e-readers at a significantly lower price. The one time expense of buying an e-reader pales in comparison to the amount of money spent even for one semester of books. This is a possibility I see coming in the near future and will hopefully soon!

What do you guys think? A definite possibility?
