After mentioning it a fortnight ago at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sony is finally introducing its new TransferJet wireless SD cards to the market… in Japan (surprise, surprise). The SD card uses close-proximity radio technology to transfer data to and from compatible devices without the need for a mountain of wires or clunky card readers. The 8GB card is now available for preorder in the US for the price of $99.99. The card is officially set to hit the States on February 8th.
