After much hype in the past couple weeks over Apple’s “latest creation,” Apple has finally unveiled it’s latest product: the iPad. The unveiling today has confirmed the suspicions of many that Apple would be releasing their own “Tablet PC.” So as to not take away from the in-depth post that is to come, I will just say that Apple claims that the iPad is a new category of portable electronics; it is the transition between smart phones and laptops. There is a huge controversy right now between Apple supporters and Apple haters as to whether or not this device is truly a new innovation or whether it is just another over-hyped Apple product.
