With a few changes to your Google settings, it looks like you will be able to “Google” your social networking friends. Using this new Social Search option, you will be able to search for results that are related to people on your Facebook, Twitter, and other common social sites.

If you’d rather not have your personal life “Googled,” then Facebook users can adjust their privacy settings as to limit search results. Google comments that, “We think there’s tremendous potential for social information to improve search, and we’re just beginning to scratch the surface” (CNN.com).
