Sixteen year old Alexander Kendrick has invented a low frequency radio that will allow for digital communication up to 946 feet underground. In essence, this means that you can send and receive texts or calls while deep underground! Cool, huh?

Kendrick has gotten much attention and praise for his invention and companies are already looking into modifying the device for more practical use.

Dear Alexander, thanks for making the rest of us look bad. I have accomplished nothing in my life. Congratulations anyway.
