I’m typing this interview right now while listening to music on the Ultimate Ears MetroFi 220vi earphones by Logitech. Retailing for $89.99, I must say that this is my first set of high-end earphones. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. Here’s the breakdown:
Design:
Sleek and sexy is my style, and these ear buds fit that concept just fine. Although I would’ve preferred them in black, these ear buds have a sleek metallic finish on them. A black or red piece is connected to the metallic frame to denote left and right. Attached to that is a white silicon attachment that goes in your ear. Overall, the design is pretty appealing, and users that could care less…well…could care less.
Fit:
The aforementioned silicon attachments come in three sizes depending on how big your ear canal is. I chose the medium size and have been wearing them for extended periods of time for the past day or so . So far, I have not experienced any discomfort whatsoever. The ear buds are very comfortable and do not irritate your ears like other ear buds that I have previously owned.
Audio quality:
In the past day or so, I have listened to a large variety of songs to test these ear buds. Although I am not an audiophile of any sort, I do know quality sound when I hear it. These ear buds provide very good sound quality with attention to bass and treble. Overall, it covers a very large audio range. The sound is crisp and vivid and I could have sworn that the actors were right next to me while watching a drama.
Miscellaneous:
The cord could be a tad bit longer. I don’t mind this length when sitting at my laptop, but I found it a little difficult to cope with while on the treadmill at the gym. The ear buds also come with a built in microphone system that allows you to take hands free calls if it is attached to a compatible phone. I cannot comment on this feature, but from the looks of it, it seems very simple to use. Essentially a “one touch” feature.
The Bottom Line:
The MetroFi 220vi earphones are certainly a quality set of ear buds for a reasonable price. The quality of the sound is excellent and the buds fit comfortably in the ears. The only minor complaint I have is that the cord is a little too short and could become troublesome for more intense activities other than sitting at your computer.
RATING: 4.5/5

Well, I did this based off of the $20 and below headphones that I have so… Hahaha. It sounded good to me!
Actually it seems to me its a “rebrand” by Logitech. In that case, Logitech had nothing to do with the development of its Sound trademark and Logitech is there to simply mass produce its name.. AUDIOPHILE products are never famous, the ones you’ve never heard of are the best.
I never heard a single good logitech audio product before. Either this is something very UNIQUELY good, or you’re not as picky as Derek and I
Nice review man

I don’t doubt it too much anymore since its engineered by Ultimate Ears.
I wonder how it compares to similar priced earphones?
The thing is u cant really test them out due to sanitary reasons at stores.
