Protection One is among America’s leading home protection and monitoring agencies, serving almost 1 million customers nationally. The company also has a free iPhone application that enables subscribers to monitor their home alarms and receive updates wirelessly.
Protection One’s eSecure system was the country’s first of its kind, which used e-mail and text mesages to notify customers of dangers and intrusions when they were away from home. The iPhone app, featured in Apple’s advertisement a year go, is free. eSecure is available to Protection One subscribers for an additional $15 monthly, with a $149 installation fee.
