Sony is partnering up with YouTube for the video-epicenter’s annual PROJECT:REPORT contest. There are two rounds in this years contest. Ten semi-finalists will be chosen from round one via a panel of judges from the Pulitzer Center. The end of round two will yield five winners.

The ten semi-finalists will each receive a brand spanking new VAIO notebook (the F series) with Intel’s new i7 core processor. In addition, Sony will also award them an HD camcorder to help them in the next round.

The concept of round one is simple: Document a day in the life of someone that you think the world should know about. Winners of round two will receive a $10,000 grant to film a documentary about a world issue. The deadline to submit your entry for round one is February 28th. For more information, click here.
