At Mobile World Congress, Samsung announced its own operating system, Bada, which is powering the upcoming Wave smartphone.

Being a high-end smartphone, the Wave packs powerful specifications. Although this is wicked hardware, I would not choose it over open source Android or Symbian. Even Windows Phone 7 and Apple’s soon to be released OS 4 would be preferable, despite the Bada’s multitasking abilities. The Wave is slated for worldwide sale in April.

- aGPS + Bluetooth 3.0 + WIFI G/N
- 3.5mm audio connector
- 1500 mAh battery
