Most of the attention at Mobile World Congress centers around Android and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Phone 7 announcement, but HTC is one of the few companies that is still Windows Mobile 6.5 loyalists. The HD Mini, which is a more affordable version of the HTC HD2, runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Presumably, the HD Mini will not be upgradable to Windows Phone 7.
HTC also unveiled Android 2.1 handhelds Desire and Legend, which have stolen the show. One wonders if another WiMo 6.5 smartphone is redundant given WiPhone 7’s revealing. For anyone still interested, the HD Mini is a looker and should be reasonably priced.

Hm. I would think that Windows Phone 7 would make WinMo 6.5 totally obsolete. Hahaha.
