Microsoft and Yahoo announced on Thursday that they’re getting married! Well… not literally. The two companies are coming together in an attempt to rival search-engine giant Google.

The 10-year partnership will combine the search databases of Bing and Yahoo, although each site will still continue operating under their respective names. Yahoo search will now sport a “powered by Bing” logo. The companies say that this new partnership looks hopeful and will open doors for the development of new and innovative search technologies.
