Today, HP released a new line of point and shoot cameras and camcorders. HP boasts that these new cameras feature new and innovative interfaces and controls.

Expected to hit this spring, the line of cameras and camcorders range in prices from $99 to $199. The line will feature LCD screens and up to 5x optical zoom. “HP is giving consumers a better way to interact with point-and-shoot cameras by offering models with advanced features at a great value,” said Mark Ostendorf, manager, Business Development, Personal Systems Group, HP. “Entry-level consumers will love the HP CW series while customers who want a premium experience will enjoy the touch interface of the HP CW450t or PW460t and two of our new camcorders.”

I looked at images of the camera, and although they aren’t as sleek as I’d like (compared to Sony’s line), they do look pretty fashionable. I would definitely sport one of these.
