So you’ve all heard of the Dell Mini 5, right? Well, it looks like Dell is stepping into the ring, as the company has announced that it will be soon launching a family of tablet PCs.
The Dell Mini 5, the first in the line of tablets, features a 16:9 aspect ratio screen and will be running Android 2.0 or higher. This new line of tablets looks really promising. Dell is hoping to be at the forefront of the tablet business. Dell says it will be packing the tablet pull of services and unique content that will distinguish it from the inevitable wave of tablets to come. Dell is also working on affordable data plans that will appeal to many consumers.
I’m really digging this. For me, the iPad seems a little large. A 5″ device like this is a lot more portable. So, Apple, looks like it’s time to put your boxing gloves on!
