Just a little over a month ago, Apple announced its new groundbreaking device: the iPad. The iPad has thus far accumulated much attention, both negative and positive.

Well, things are about to get more tense, as Apple announced Friday that the device will be hitting stores on April 3rd. Prices start at $499, with $699 being the price for the most expensive model. Preorders begin on March 12th. My prediction? That ever-growing pool of Apple heads will buy this up like there’s no tomorrow, but overall, I don’t think the iPad will sell that well.
