Heads up, Diggers, because Digg.com is going to be revamped significantly in a few weeks. Among the changes are one-click submissions, personalized homepages, weakened power Diggers, and more evenly distributed traffic to top posts.

Personalized Homepages:
Instead of seeing the current front page, those who are logged-in will have customized homepages, which display their favorites and activities from friends.

Submitters Dethroned:
Publishers will be able to auto-submit their articles through RSS feeds. The elite group of submitters who presently wield unworldly power will lose their ability to propel their stories to the front page. User votes mean more. Also, anonymous users will be granted the ability to vote.

Sharing the Wealth:
Digg plans to work more closely with publishers and is even tinkering on revenue sharing. The new system should cut down on the unfair Digg phenomenon of only a few dozen websites receiving the majority of the traffic. In effect, traffic will be better dispersed among various top stories.

These drastic alterations may hopefully break the existing power Digger monopoly and turn Digg into a true haven for good articles. The current format of Digg is teh suck.
