The latest round of Apple iPhone speculation and news includes Verizon, CDMA, WWDC 2010, Multitasking, OmniVision cameras

The Facts:
- Ivan Seidenberg, Verizon’s Chief wants the iPhone on his carrier but does not know whether it is coming or not. He does cite WSJ’s report that Apple has a CDMA iPhone in the works.
- Apple is lifting the curtains on iPhone OS 4 on April 8th.

The Credible Rumblings:
- OminiVision, a major supplier of camera sensors (including for the iPhone), is “well positioned” to introduce 5 megapixel cameras for the iPhone and the second generation iPad.
- Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference commences June 28th (fact), when it might announce two new iPhones.
- Appleinsider continually insists that reliable sources point to Apple’s introduction of full multitasking for iPhone OS 4.
- A variant of the “A4″ iPad chip is bound for the iPhone, which will have a 960×640 screen, bringing it much closer to the iPad.

From Left Field:
- These rumors have been in wide circulation for sometime and have virtually nothing to back them up: OLED displays, several versions of the iPhone (iPhone Nano), 4G/LTE support. Apple’s recent job posting is looking for developers to work with LTE, but at this stage in the proceedings, it is improbable that it will make its way in the next iPhone. Besides, Apple has historically shied away from adopting immature formats (Blu-Ray, anyone?).
