On sale for $29.99 CDN (regularly $60), the Retrogen Portable Genesis is a handheld version of SEGA’s enormously popular 16-bit console from the early 1990s. With a 2.8″ LCD, the Retrogen allows gamers to relive their glorious sprite gaming days. There is also Audio/Video out for playing on a TV.

The sale price is only until April 13th, and Americans are eligible. Since I was a Super NES kid, I am passing on the portable Genesis, but for $30, you have access to hundreds of classic cartridges. The developer want to bring out a cartridge with an SD-slot, which could enable ROMs and homebrew stuff.
