Forbes has a fun article that lists America’s top 25 companies, headed by Wal-Mart, which handed out a staggering $7.1 billion (34.2%) last year to the IRS. Many of these corporations paid the typical 25-40%, but others were able to slither out of defraying much, if any, taxes by the grace of federal deductions and international loopholes.
