For some inexplicable reason, he did not pre-order one weeks ago, so his wife offers to line up at an Apple store by 6 AM but falls asleep on the couch and does not wake up until hours later. From Htcyou: Making the rounds today allover the internet is a supposed snapshot of Verizon’s inventory page, which lists 156,709 HTC Incredible units on order, meaning that the smartphone could be making its way to store shelves by the end of April. More »


From Htcyou: The mega expensive and luxurious Chairman smartphone from high-end Swiss watchmaker Ulysse Nardin is priced from $12,800 to $49,500 but is far more than just an anachronistic contraption made to sap money from suckers. Running a customized version of Google’s Android OS, the Chairman launches with an optional subscription fee by which owners can send their units in annually and have the software and hardware upgraded, the mechanical pieces inside serviced just like a regular watch, and the exterior refinished. A well-known Bit Torrent website, IsoHunt (30 million visitors per month), has been court-ordered to remove all .torrent files because nearly all of them contain copyrighted material. Gary Fung, also the proprietor of Torrentbox and Podtropolis, owns IsoHunt and has been in legal tussles over his websites for years. More »
