Foxconn had been the iPhone manufacturer and currently makes parts for many Apple devices like the iPod. Digitimes writes that Pegatron Technologies has replaced Foxconn as the builder of the CDMA iPhone 4G/HD.
The Digitimes report follows confirmation that Apple and AT&T had originally signed a 5-year exclusivity deal. Nevertheless, Verizon iPhone rumors persist, and some are convinced that Apple’s 4th generation model will launch on the CDMA network as soon as this year. Yesterday, Crunchgear said that a marketing company is working on a Verizon iPhone advertising campaign.
