This is the the MSI tablet that many geeks are holding their breaths for: with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 SoC (which delivers an advertised 12-hours of battery life), the 10″ Wind Pad 110 runs Google Android 2.1 but sadly uses the same low-resolution 1024×600 capacitive touchscreen as the Wind Pad 100.

1024×600 is not that much less usable than the iPad’s (99% of whose owners are very pleased with their purchase, for now) 1024×768. MSI may be unleashing the 110 for $400 towards the end of the year. Other specs (I/O ports, dimensions, etc.) should be similar to the Windows 7 Wind Pad.
