Notion Ink’s very promising Adam tablets have been pushed back to November. In February, when the company enthusiastically showed off the slate, the targeted release was June/July. Alas, because of Adobe Flash 10.1 issues and production/hardware supply problems (lots of tablets are being manufactured by other big firms), the Google Android based Adam is arriving late 2010.

Crunch Gear believes that the device has low chances of survival given the multitude of slates and tablets launching ahead of it, and I have to agree. Were the Adam (assuming it is good) to be released this summer, then it could have had the jump on its rivals. For my money, IDC’s Gemini (which is also a smartphone), a very similar slate might have the Adam licked anyway.

UPDATE: The November launch is for certain countries only. Notion Ink is going to announce the first release dates and countries soon.
