Motorola’s Droid X is stirring quite a ruckus among smartphone connoisseurs and is bound to be a big seller for Verizon. The full-page New York Times advertisement that Verizon took to promote the upcoming phone is informative and derisive, as it makes fun of the iPhone 4’s ongoing antenna reception problems.

it comes with a double antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like and use it just about anywhere to make crystal clear calls.

The iPhone 4 is an easy target right now, but Apple is still laughing all the way to the bank. However, if the software fix does not actually fix reception, then for iPhone owners, the issue is no laughing matter.
