From Girlybubble: In the market for a sparkly Hello Kitty iPad case? Look no further. The idea is so simple and useful that I am perplexed as to why there are not more of them around: a compact wireless keyboard and mouse combo designed to work on your lap for couch typing/gaming/music listening/film viewing sessions. Phantom’s $130 Lapboard is literally an all-in-one KBM device whose full-size keyboard can swivel 360 degrees and be pulled up by 20 degrees, leaving the board underneath to act as a mousepad for the small laser mouse. In theory, the product is an HTPC dream, but does it work? More »

From Htcyou: Eventually, every carrier in the world will have a Google Android smartphone. Metro PCS is on tap to receive a lower end QWERTY slider from Motorola that runs Eclair. More »

From Htcyou: Just out in the UK via O2, the Dell Streak was rooted yesterday. More »

Notion Ink’s very promising Adam tablets have been pushed back to November. In February, when the company enthusiastically showed off the slate, the targeted release was June/July. Alas, because of Adobe Flash 10.1 issues and production/hardware supply problems (lots of tablets are being manufactured by other big firms), the Google Android based Adam is arriving late 2010. From Ningin: Square Enix is being sued $5MM for a Final Fantasy XIII bug that killed a California resident’s PS3. For eight dollars, the Apple iPad is now available to rent in-flight onboard Jetstar Airlines. If you’re craving a Motorola Droid’s Android 2.2 FroYo ROM update, it’s now available! A G-Dragon autographed Heartbreaker photo is being given away at Ningin, but not necessarily just for the heartbroken…anyone can enter. New Yorkers had the treat of listening to Arashi’s Monster on the radio. Justin Bieber fever has hit young poets with symptoms such as the cheesy Justin Bieber poem. $10 will get you a lot of great lip and cheek makeup products! Vampire Diaries’ holy trinity Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder graciously provide fanservice to their UK fans. The all-denim trend ala Justin and Britney is back, whether you like it or not. Say hello to Tim Tebow, the third official Broncos quarterback.

Snapped with a Cannon G11, these pictures provide a tease for what Monday’s kick-off at Apple’s annual WWDC event holds. As the photographs indicate, iPhone OS 4.0 and apps (duh!) are the stars of the show, but we all know that the finished iPhone 4G/HD is lurking behind the curtains. More »

From Htcyou: An unofficial Android 2.2 FroYo ROM can now be installed on the Motorola Droid. Wi-Fi does not work because it has been disabled. Everything else should be functional, but some users have reported minor issues. More »

What do you get when you combine exotic cars with computers? Usually just useless designs that retail for far too much. However, ASUS’s VX6 Lamborghini netbook is an exception because although it houses an Intel Atom processor (1.8GHz D525), it is accelerated by NVIDIA’s Ion graphics, two USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 3.0, Wireless N, and 7.5 hours of battery life. Here is one more great application that the iPad cannot use, Google Goggles, which, soon the iPhone will have. Goggles allows users to photograph QR codes, text, and pictures, then Google for search results. The Android version of the program features a highly practical language text translation too. More »

From Htcyou: The Motorola’s “Shadow” name is gone –the source who has leaked the photographs calls it the Droid Xtreme. A couple of days ago, Droid Life wrote that the Xtreme might have been running Android FroYo, but this first snapshot of the device powered on shows that it is Android 2.1 Eclair. More »

Specifically, ZodTTD’s PSX emulator, due to popular demand, is programmed for Android 2.1 and 2.2, with fast smartphones like the Nexus One, whose 1GHz Snapdragon processor screams. More »
