Perhaps to break out of its denial and general silence, Apple will be holding a press conference on Friday at 10 AM Pacific to address the iPhone 4. Could this be a recall that most analysts believe is unlikely, or is Apple giving away free bumpers?

A complete recall of the 2 million plus iPhone 4 units sold globally could cost Apple billions of dollars, yet class action lawsuits, should they be granted trial, may result in just as much damages to the company and its reputation. Whatever Apple decides to do, it will incite controversy.

i’m sure that they’ll do something at minimum - since so many people are running into the iPhone 4 problems now that they are actually out
