When ASUS announced its EP101TC, the tablet was running Windows CE, but like most manufacturers, ASUS has thought better of it and will instead use Google’s Android.

The EP101TC Eee Pad is on target for Q1 release in the new year. Presumably, the EP121 tablet will stay with Windows 7 because it is made to be more of a notebook replacement, whereas the EP101TC is a lower priced slate for multimedia. ASUS will be a slightly tardy to the tablet game because most manufacturers will (and others might) have theirs out before the end of 2010.

I have a feeling this is going to be a big hit^.^

This one looks really promising o.o
To pair it with Android too - so nice
I wonder when it’s official release date will be - definitely worth checking this one out

As much as I like the iPad, I can’t wait for an open source tablet.
