The endless cue of tablets that are lining up to appear on the market can be mind-numbing, but the ExoPC Slate stands out from the rest because of its high resolution 11.6″ capacitive touchscreen, Broadcom BCM70012 GPU, and custom interface.

In addition to the updated software on the ExoPC, it now has a significantly better LCD that features much wider viewing angles. A September release is still planned, and although $600 is higher than the entry iPad, the ExoPC comes with 32Gb standard (but no 3G) and other niceties like a webcam, 2Gb RAM (which is appreciated for Windows 7), and an SD-card slot. One thing that gives me a giggle is that the ExoPC videos were uploaded with an iPhone.
