Some will say that the Motorola Droid is boxy and ugly, but I find it understated and sort of handsome. The Droid is Motorola’s biggest star and is about to be followed up by the almost identical looking Droid 2. Over in China, a Droid clone has appeared that looks the part, but tragically, it runs Windows Mobile 6.5.

A Droid replica that actually runs Android would have been welcomed, but because this one is crippled by WiMo, people can simply pretend they never saw it –a pity too since the specs are pretty good: 3.7-inch LCD (800×480), 5-megapixel camera, GPS, wireless, and a 533MHz K3 processor. Even the 60 x 115.8 x 13.8mm dimensions are almost the same as the Droid.
