Slip your original iPhone into the “Game Pad” by CP Design, and your device becomes a portable gaming machine. Running emulators and SNES ROM games has never been as doable on the iPhone. We have seen something similar for the Motorola Droid.
I am firmly for physical buttons and analogue sticks (and mouse for shooter/RTS) when gaming for “real.” Using a touch panel for “serious” games is still flimsy. This is one of the main reasons why most iPad, iPhone, and Android games are so simplistic. Using something like the Game Pad (which comes in white or black) could allow players to enjoy SNES and old school games the way that they were designed to be experienced (with precise controls).
