After the iPad fever resulted by Apple, coming up next is BlackPad by BlackBerry’s developer company, RIM. At least two million tablets should be produced by Taiwanese notebook manufacturer Quanta and they’re supposed to be launched in September.

This $500 BlackPad will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity through a BlackBerry smartphone. This tablet with 8.9-inch screen is likely to be a new product that will help RIM in its market share, as lately more people have bought Apple’s iPhones and Android phones than BlackBerry ones. BlackPad’s ability to connect to BlackBerry phones could also increase the phones’ sales.

So, will you rather stick to the iPad, or choose BlackPad instead? Or will you wait for Dell and HP tablets, although their launching dates are still unknown?
