Following the “Hi-Phone” in China, the iPhone 4’s counterfeit twin brother, comes the counterfeit of Apple’s popular iPad. Running on Android, the tablets claim to give you a whopping 64GB of memory for the low price that they are selling at- $125-$200. However, you may not even be getting your small amount of money’s worth for this gadget, because they are said to be slow, unresponsive and have smaller screens than the real iPad.

Owen Fletcher of The Wall Street Journal said, “Their desktops displayed applications such as Google Maps, the Android Market and Chinese instant-messaging program QQ, but their touchscreens could be unresponsive. Dragging a finger sideways to open a new section of the screen didn’t always work.”

China, the world’s largest manufacturer, is known for selling mock products cheaply. And there is such a big chance for them to do so because many of the world’s consumer electronics are now being produced there as we speak. Your electronic devices are likely to have been made there, or at least parts of it. This iPad is just one of the newest forgeries.

Apple’s iPad has not yet been released in China and neither had a release date been planned. Production of the iPhone 4 and iPad are now starting to meet demand, but if you’re desparate for an iPad now, head over to Beijing for a cheap, copy-cat alternative.

Reeeeeally not worth it.

this is crazy.. so expensive...ohhh!!

The iPad’s black sides aren’t that wide, doesn’t run on Android and has another layout for apps, compared to the Hi-Phone. Despite it’s just $125-$200 I’d rather get myself an iPad or other tablet than this one.

it doesnt even look that good O.o
or does an ipda look like that ??
