Apple’s iPad saves the day when you’re out for a long trip or vacation. It comes in handy when you get bored as you can watch movies and play games with its long battery life. Here are some great tips to keep in mind while you are traveling with your iPad.

1. Go Offline
If you are going for an international trip take note that it may cost you some extra bucks for roaming. You’ll be back on Wifi so might as well prepare some useful applications like Offmaps, its an app that lets you download city maps for offline use.

2. A Wi-Fi Hotspot Directory
Most probably you will be relying on a Wi-Fi connection so before you leave dont forget to download a hotspot database so it would be easier for you to find a hotspot when youre on your destination. You can do this with a free app like Wi-Fi Finder.

3. Weather
A weather app is also essential to keep you safe and warm while on your vacation, you might want to invest with an app like Weather Pro which costs 5$.

4. Language Guides
It would be better to learn some phrases when you’re going to a country that doesn’t use English as their main language, you may want to try some Travel-guide app to do this.

5. PDFs
Save some of your useful travel information in PDF-format so you can easily retrieve them for offline use.
