Samsung’s Galaxy is slowly making its name in the world of smartphones and this time it looks like their next target is the world of portable media players with their newest Android based gadget, the Samsung Galaxy Player 50.
This gadget has smartphone-like features and it would be awesome if it could send text messages and such, but yeah its a portable media player so that’s it. The Galaxy Player 50 runs on Google Android version 2.1, has a 3.2 inch WVGA multitouch LCD display, 2 megapixel camera, 802.11n WiFi and it comes with an 8GB or 16GB built-in storage but if that’s not enough for you, you can further extend its memory through its micro SD card slot.
The pricing on this gadget is yet to be revealed but if the price is reasonable enough, I think it could be really an alternative to an iPod Touch. What do you think?
