You read correctly - Best Buy Mobile will begin “Free Phone Fridays” on Oct. 1, where free phones are given away, starting with the Verizon Samsung Fascinate as well as the Sprint BlackBerry Curve, AT&T HTC Aria, and T-Mobile Samsung Gravity. To get a free phone you will have to activate a new upgrade or an add-a-line with a two-year agreement, but hey it’s a free smartphone.

Too good to be true? I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how much money they’re losing by doing this.
