The tittle of the article pretty much says everything there is to say. A Russian Man, Dmitry Latyshev, has been sentenced to 15 years in jail for ordering the destruction of 50,000 cell phones.

Dmitry Latyshev who was a prosecutor recently ordered the destruction of 50,000 cell phones that were confiscated in 2006 due to high radiation levels. The big problem over this is that he had no authority to give the order.

Meanwhile, people are saying that this entire ordeal is some sort of conspiracy. Apparently the ex co-owner of Yevroset, the company that the phones were confiscated from is in the UK fighting against from whom the phones were seized, is currently in the UK and fighting an extradition treaty. The former co-owner stated, “that the seizure of the phones was part of an ongoing campaign to force his company to pay bribes to customs officials.”

This is exactly the reason why people shouldn’t try to but into other people’s business, cause they’ll end up in some sort of trouble. I still don”t even get why he would give the order, I mean, he must have know there would be consequences right?

Anyways, what do you guys think about the whole thing?
