At one time or another most of us have all seen Marty McFlys self-lace Nike sneakers on Back to the Future 2. Well now Nike has even tried to patent the self-lacing design.

It is really easy nowadays to find the self-lacing ones but imagine what it would be like to actually own the kind they wore during filming. If you’re one of those people that want those shoes then be ready to fork over some serious dough. When these shoes become available on November 6th at the Hollywood Memorabilia Auction 42 these shoes might cost you anywhere from $12,000 to $15,000 . Yikes!

Truth is, I really don’t think that any normal fan would buy these shoes. To spend that much money on a pair of shoes someone would have to be a hardcore fan.

Would any of you guys think about buying these shoes or anything as expensive as that just because you’re that hardcore of a fan?
