The Free University of Berlin recently showed off their latest invention: a self-driving taxi called ‘Made in Germany.’ This VW Passat is equipped with modern sensor technology to detect its surroundings.

All you have to do is ‘call’ your cab to pick you up via an iPad app from Appirion, and it will come without any driver at the wheel. Check out this autonomous taxi in action!

I’m impressed with the advance of technology. I don’t know whether I’d want to take a self-driving taxi though. I wouldn’t be able to sit calmly in it, as I’d be afraid that anything could happen. What about you?
