I don’t need to tell you how many germs are living (and constantly multiplying) on people’s hands and faces, but have you thought about where all those germs tend to get relocated to? Hello iPhone!

Touchscreens are particularly susceptible to becoming breeding grounds for E. coli, influenza, staph, strep, and salmonella, and Clorox wipes won’t kill ALL of them, especially with all those little crevices in the phone. So Vio Light has offered a solution: the UV Smartphone Sanitizer. Just stick your smartphone into the case for a good 5 minutes and it’ll kill 99.9% (somehow it’s always this number) of the germs using UV light.

The sanitizer costs $49.95, but think about how much it costs to keep going to the doctor’s just because you put a germ infested phone to your face all the time.
