How many things can you do on an airplane flight? Watch a movie, listen to music, eat, watch another movie… A flight from Los Angeles to New York City is about 6 hours; that’s 6 hours where you’re disconnected from the rest of the world.

But not this holiday season! Thanks to the Google Chrome team, which teamed up with AirTran, Delta, and Virgin America, domestic U.S. flights will be offering free Wi-Fi even at 30,000 feet in the air from Nov. 20 to Jan. 2. So you can let all your friends on Facebook know as you’re passing over Ohio, Kansas, Nevada, etc. Finally! A cure to airplane boredom!
