The Asus Eee tablet is experencing a delay in its release, but Asus are still determined to bring it to market! The device will be renamed for a scheduled 2011 release.

The tablet will receive a demo at CES in January and released in early 2011. It may be released even earlier in Europe, depending on certain deals and agreements that may or may not be made.

Another thing that will change is the name of the Asus Eee tablet, which Asus are currently in the process of changing. Let’s hope it’s a fitting name for a tablet which boasts an 8-inch screen with 1024 X 768 pixel display and a a 0.1 second page turn rate.

We still do not yet have a confirmation of the price, but rumours put the figure at under $600.
