The Q Sensor is like a mood ring, except you wear it on your wrist and it costs a whopping $2000. Of course it’s a lot more high-tech than any cheap mood ring. It measures changes in skin temperature, motion, and skin conductivity to determine the wearer’s emotional state. Yes, that means you can still trick the sensor for kicks by running under hot water or shaking it vigorously, but this sensor is meant for autistic children and people with epilepsy and their caretakers, so they can foresee temper tantrums and emotional breakdowns.
