Ice hotels have always fascinated me. I mean, how can you build rooms made of ice? I mean, wouldn’t you be cold? No matter, I love the cold. And ice sculptures. But this isn’t a sculpture. It’s actually a room designed after the nightclub scene in the movie Tron - the designers Ben Rousseau and Ian Douglas are huge Tron fans. So now, one of the suites in side the Ice Hotel is the designated Tron suite, called the legacy of the river That’s a pretty intense name - the design is amazing. Researchers from the University of Maryland are currently working on batteries that are based on rigid, rod-shaped tobacco mosaic virus, that can be found on tobacco, tomato, pepper and other plants.
