Not having Flash support on iDevices isn’t as inconvenient as everyone makes it out to be and HTML5’s advanced capabilities is well worth the wait for the rest of the Internet to catch up with Apple’s policies. With that said, there are times like when I want to watch GameTrailers TV on the road or want to watch an “ultra funny video” my Uncle sent me and I have to wait until I’m at home to do so, which is never fun. Verizon seems to be following in Comcast’s footsteps and bringing all the features from their home cable box to mobile devices including, but not limited to Apple’s iPhone and iPad. The longterm goal is to seamlessly link the television viewing experience to mobile devices so that subscribers can access live TV, OnDemand, and their personal DVR from anywhere in the world.
